The Russian government has extended the permission to import goods without labeling from 1 March, 2023 until 1 September, 2023, retroactively; according to new Decree No. 430 published on 21 March, 2023. It is important to note that although the import of goods without mandatory labeling is allowed under Decree No. 353, these goods cannot be sold until they are labeled with the required mark of compliance. The labeling requirement must be met before the products are sold on the market.
